They are looking for a dynamic and dedicated professional to fill the position of: Senior Electrical Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain electrical systems & equipment including HT and LT switchgears; and plan/supervise its installation, operations and repair for all their projects.
- Carry out troubleshooting, regular inspection and test inclusive of preventive maintenance and repair work and render technical advice.
- Prepare electrical engineering working drawings and specifications with estimates on labour, materials and other related costs of installation processes.
- Check completed electrical engineering work to ensure statutory compliance with specifications and industrial safety standards.
- Study and implement green energy and energy efficiency systems for the Group.
- Ensure fire safety protection system throughout the whole milling complex.
Pre-requisites:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of hands-on practical experience in electrical engineering work in a large manufacturing plant.
- Able to handle all types of electrical engineering projects and troubleshooting works.
- Candidates who have an Electrical Engineer’s Licence; and some practical working experience in electronics engineering field work would be an added advantage.
- Self-motivated and resourcefulness with strong analytical skills.
Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement proper inspection, servicing, overhaul and trouble-shooting for low, medium and high voltage equipment of the cogeneration and utilities plants.
- Prepare technical specifications for purchase of spares and services.
- Manage maintenance contract services and plan budget for maintenance of plants.
- Perform document review, erection and commissioning of new plant with contractors.
Requirements:
- The Engineer is required to lead his/her team of Technical Officer and Technicians and manage the contractors to discharge his/her responsibilities.
- Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Preferably 2 to 5 years’ related experience in power, petrochemical or process plants. Experience in coal fired power plant will be an advantage.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
